Beer-Water Beer & G3 | Stone & Wood Brewing Co
Stone & Wood Brewing Co has brewed a beer using purified wastewater in celebration of World Water Day on the 22nd of March.
The wastewater used was water left over after brewing beer, which was processed through an ultra filtration and reverse osmosis system.
It has also released the seventh limited release in its Counter Culture series, G3.
The Counter Culture range sees a new beer released every 10 weeks, featuring new recipes as well as pilot-batch beers from the past.
G3 is a hazy DIPA brewed with Galaxy, Pale, Wheat, Rolled Wheat and Rolled Oats and New England yeast.
At 7.6% abv, Stone & Wood say the beer is 13 times more dry-hopped with Galaxy than its Pacific Ale.
Belgian Golden Ale & Sweetart Sour Ale | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has released the Belgian Golden Ale as part of its 2019 Barrel Series.
The Belgian Golden Ale was aged for six months in Mayford Shiraz barrels and has additions of cherry puree and almond.
At 8.6% abv it includes East Kent Golding hops, Pale and Wheat malt as well as Belgian Saison yeast.
Bright’s Sour Range also has a new addition, welcoming Kiwi Sweetart Sour Ale to the lineup.
At 4.3% abv it the kiwi fruit sour ale includes Loral hops, Pale, Munich and Wheat Malt along with American Ale yeast.
Golden fruit kiwi puree was added as well as sea salt.
Espresso Martini | Modus Operandi Brewing
Modus Operandi Brewing has released its Espresso Martini Dark Lager.
Modus says beans from Allpress Espresso were used, and it was initially brewed for Good Beer Week and GABS festival limited to Victoria, though is now an online-only release.
At 6% abv it is available to purchase now directly from the Modus website.
Leons NEIPA & Timothy Tamothy Slamothy| Moon Dog Craft Brewery
Moon Dog Craft Brewery has released the next beer in its doggo mates series, Leons NEIPA.
It has been dry-hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Motueka and Mosaic.
London Fog yeast was used along with Pale, Wheat Flaked malt and Golden Naked Oats.
Also newly released is Timothy Tamothy Slamothy, a chocolate biscuit milk Stout.
Lactose and cacoa was added to boost the chocolate biscuit nature of the beer.
Malt types used include Ale, Caramel Steam, Golden Naked Oats, Amber, Chocolate, Carafa and Rolled Oats.
West Coast Juicy IIPA | Otherside Brewing Co
West Coast Juicy IIPA is the newest addition to Otherside Brewing Co’s Experimental series.
At 8.4% abv it has medium to low bitterness and includes Mosaic, Vic Secret and Bravo hops.
Otherside say the beer bridges the gap between the juiciness of a new school hazy and the hop structure of a classic West Coast Double IPA.
Don’t Know About That Simcoe Hop, Tempest and Lamington Ale | Deeds Brewing
Deeds first release, Don’t Know About That Simcoe Hop, is the first of its new solo hop series.
The series will explore beers that will include only one hop type and first up is Simcoe.
The 8.5% abv beer is a Hazy DIPA including Simcoe, Pale, Oat, Wheat malt and Flaked Barley.
Next up, the 8.8% abv Tempest is a limited release in collaboration with Carwyn.
Deeds say to expect heavy notes of passionfruit and pineapple from the Hazy DIPA.
Galaxy and Vic Secret hops are used along with pale, Oat, wheat malt and flaked barley.
Lastly, Lamington Ale, an English brown ale inspired by Australia’s love of Lamingtons.
It includes Warrior hops along with pale, wheat, Carapils, Chocolate and Caramunich 1 malt.
